We have had an eventful year as your MPA co-chairs! From the installation of the basketball hoops in the bus loop to the distribution of pies to faculty and staff at Thanksgiving to meetings on important topics such as vaping and sex education for teens, we’ve tried to be a resource for all parents in the MMS community.
We can’t do it without the help of the many dedicated parent volunteers at MMS and without your generous financial donations. As we wind down for the year, we wanted to make sure you knew about two fast and easy ways to donate to the PTO.
First, make a direct donation to our PayPal page. Click here and donate whatever amount you’re comfortable with. It’s just that easy.
Second, participate in our summer reading book fair. All you need to do is go to barnesandnoble.com before May 25th and enter our bookfair code (12370896) in the special bookfair section right before checkout. Order summer reading books for your students or books for yourself. There is no promotional discount, but the proceeds will benefit the MPA.
These funds will be used for end of year gifts to faculty and staff as well as to help pay for the 8th grade promotion celebration, which is being relocated from The Depot to the MMS campus so that it’s easier for all of our 8th graders to share this special event together.
Thanks again for a great year!
